Here are some of the stories I’ve worked on when I was the editor of  Kiss and Makeup. They range from Catwalk critiques to celebrity beauty trends, and include product reviews, cosmetic surgery guides and health and fitness features.

INTERVIEWS

I’ve interviewed a number of high profile media personalities; amongst them are nail guru Leighton Denny, photographer and model Huggy Ragnarsson, Miss Polly Rae, burlesque star extraordinaire, and Eric Jiminez, Urban Decay global ambassador. I’ve spoken to Vivienne Tam, backstage at New York fashion week 2008, and interviewed the MAC makeup artist team on various shoots. I’ve also interviewed  a variety of high profile bloggers and makeup artists such as Isabella a.k.a The Muse and PJ from a Touch of Blusher.

I’ve also co-ordinated and scheduled video shoots, including how to makeup demo’s and our very entertaining waterproof mascara test!

CELEBRITY

80834146DM033_Cannes_2008_CCelebrity wise, I have a weekly Beauty Hero feature which looks at the style and beauty of celebrities I admire, such as Cameron Diaz, Dita Von  Teese , Hayden Panetierre , Angelina Jolie and Blake Lively.

CATWALK BEAUTY

-Luella showcases volumized hair and red lips for her 2009 S/S collection.

-Diane Von Furstenburg may be the doyenne of wrap dresses, but she manges to make her models resemble flower fairies with ethereal accessories and Titania-like hair. Her 2008 runway at New York Fashion Week featured an eclectic mix of forties style feline eyes with whimsical frosted lips.

Danielle Scutt challenged perceptions with her 2008 S/S catwalk as she moved away from the traditional red and pink hues into an explosion of corals.
